I've been a professional chef for more than 22 years and I love this knives since I discovered them 20 years ago, I recommend them to everyone I know, excellent knives and excellent value and this offer is as good as it gets on this ones, I purchased them more times that I can count.

I think this is a great deal in and of itself but you can also get an additional 15% off if you sign up for their newsletter. $170 for the block set after 15% off is a great deal.
P.S. There is also a 2% CB from a well known CB site

If you try to apply the 15% off the price of the knives go up. The 8" chef went up to $99.99 but went back to $49.99 when I removed the code.
These are the best quality knives I own. Totally different league from Victorinox. Some of my knives are from the 1990's and still look and perform like new after regularly washing in the dishwasher. I keep them razor sharp with my Ken Onion sharpener. Take care of them and they will last a couple of lifetimes.
Macy's has it with f/s. Also on sale at most other stores.

I got the 4" paring knife pre-pandemic for like $20. It worked great, stays sharp for a long time, and I recently just sharpened it after all these years. The other knives in set seem usable and should be similar. It'll be worth it if you plan to use all the knives. Yup lifetime warranty according to this link. https://www.zwilling.com/us/warranty.html
Bought one as a promos in W-S until 2020. Wish I had grabbed 10. Still an excellent buy at $30. I like it better than my full tang Pro paring. It and the Four Star 7" santoku are my most used. Stays sharp. Comfortable handle.
Four Star 7" Santoku fine edge #31118 Forged. Solingen Germany. $40 on the Black Friday sale page, price still valid. Best Zwilling knife deal O.O.S. but keep checking to score one. I have the 31119 hollow edge version. Thin sharp low flex blade is perfect for produce and thin slicing. Stain free. Keeps its edge. No bolster on the cutting edge. I had to check back continuously for weeks to catch it in stock.
While it is a good knife, I HATE sharpening these because of the THICK part at the back of the blade. They should have grounded the back end of the blade and just leave the handle part to make it easier to sharpen.
I like the 8" chef's knife but my wife prefers 7" Santoku.
Are these knives a valuable upgrade from the classic victorinox chef knife or about even playing ground?
Mine is getting a bit long in tooth and I can never quite hold a sharp edge on it for long.
I have a set of four star, I think they are the lowest line of the Germany made lineups.
At least these are full bolster, which keeps meat gunk/tissue from wedging into the corners like what happens with non bolstered.
I don't believe the four star is full tang, that said, at least a handle has not yet separated from the steel. We also always wash these by hand.
There are also various grades of victorinox.
I have a 4" four star, it is very, very lightweight, the blade is very thin, so much so that about 3-4 mm of the tip broke off easily. I also have a 4" victorinox, full bolster, full tang, made in Germany, it feels more balanced and confidently sturdy. I never fear the steel may break. Of the two 4" pairing knives, I always use the victorinox if it's available.
My victorinox forged pairing knife is not available anymore according to Amazon, but looks very much like this, Victorinox Grand Meter Forged Knife https://a.co/d/eGWvBIf. I don't think all of their products are worth disparaging like some here do so.

In your Amex app under the offers section you should see one for Zwilling that you can hit the plus icon on to add to your card.

EDIT: "bolster" is the word I was looking for.
Edit: Charged me full amount, luckily I was able to cancel the orer.
