Take a look at the website - rtings.com. They do a ton of TV testing and break everything down in easier to understand teams and have a bunch of tools to help narrow the search. I don't think this Hisense is any good.
Understand that I'm an old guy & know next to nothing about the fancy TV sets these days. I grew up in the '50s when all TVs were plagued with horizontal & vertical roll, with adjustment knobs accordingly, and the largest I recall was 21" and seemingly weighed a ton. This appears to be a real SD. Repped.
I bought a 65 inch from Walmart a few months ago. Delivered perfectly fine. The package was well secured in styrofoam from the manufacturer. Ymmv

I have a Hisense and these TVs have terrible built-in OS. Only worth it if you plan on using external smart device (Roku, Apple TV, etc).

We got this series of TV last year in a smaller size for our play room and I will say that I love this tv. We do have an Apple TV plugged into it so we don't use the Roku but it's responsive, decent sound, and decent viewing angles.

Okay here's the deal I bought it and I'm okay with it it's in a fifth room that we use for the kids and it's fine for General live TV such as Sports but it is definitely a budget TV. Roku is very Snappy and work s better than expected in terms of os but just remember this TV is sub $400 for a reason. I watched the Georgia Tennessee game on it and some news and it did okay. If you need a supplemental TV for a kid's room or garage or anything secondary this is a great deal. I wouldn't recommend this as your main daily driver if you're looking for quality. In my case use it does its job just fine.

I have that as well. It looks like a defined border around the picture in dark scenes.

How do people returning it via shipping even get it boxed up properly again? I don't have the ability to put on those plastic straps that hold the box together, and shipping tape is too weak.

It should fit most tv stands. The legs on this tv has 2 positions. 30 inches wide and 52 inches wide. And about 14 and a half inches deep.
Does your TV actually have 2 places you can screw in the legs, one narrower and one wider?

Mine only has the wider one.

For the price, I would say this tv is amazing. The blacks are actually fairly decent, color was a little saturated but was quickly resolved, viewing angles aren't bad at all, contrast is nice as well. Handles motion and upscaling very well. The backlight bleed is noticable and unfortunately, mine is more pronounced on the upper left corner but after a few adjustments, I really don't notice it at all. After some minor tweaks and turning the soap opera motion off, I really would recommend this.

One piece of advise if you are going to wall mount this... leave the bottom half of the tv inside the shipping box and use its handles to lift it. So much easier.
Just trying to decide if I want to keep using my roku ultra and have 2 remotes or use the built in...

What did you adjust on the settings?
