If want Free Metro service with ACP cancel current $40 plan to free up the phones IMEI and sign up instore for $25 BYOP SIM plan it's same tier as $40 plan just cheaper. Once apply ACP benefit its free monthly service. You can even use same phone you just bought since IMEI is free to add to different account.
What happens if I forget to pay?
If you forget to make a payment by your due date, your service will be temporarily suspended until a payment is made. Late payments may result in fewer days of service that month. If you don't make a payment for two consecutive due dates, "your service will be disconnected and your phone number may be given away"
Once that happens you can sell the phone to any Metro Customer the IMEI is free to be added to different metro account or wait for full 180 days to unlock it. Or even Buy $25 BYOP SIM plan in-store and use phone you just bought.
1. Go to https://www.virtualbox.
2. Once installed, download the "VirtualBox Extension Pack" from their homepage and double click the downloaded file to install it
3. Now go to https://www.microsoft.c
4. Once downloaded, start VirtualBox and click on Machine->New. Give it some name, pick the .iso file you downloaded in the "ISO Image" section, and be sure to pick Windows 11 64 bit for Version. Continue on through the steps, you can leave the defaults.
5. Now that you created a virtual machine, click on it and then on the top right click "Start". This will start the virtual computer, similarly how you would turn on a physical computer or laptop.
6. Now the Windows setup should start, go through the setup process to install Windows. You should be able to install it without entering a product code, meaning it will be an unactivated Windows, which should be fine for stuff like this.
7. Once Windows is all installed, log into the virtual machine. In the menu bar, click Devices->Insert Guest Additions CD Image. This will put a virtual DVD into the virtual DVD drive, which has special software for VirtualBox. You'll need this. So, inside the virtual machine, open the File Explorer, look for a DVD drive and install the software on it. Reboot the virtual machine once done.
8. Now your virtualized Windows installation should be ready for whatever you want to do. In order to access devices connected through USB, take a look at the menu bar Devices->USB. Once you connect your phone to your physical computer with an appropriate USB cable, it should show up in this menu. If you click it to put a checkmark on it, then it will be "disconnected" from your physical computer and it will be connected to your virtual machine, allowing you to use it inside the virtual machine.
9. In order to give someone else access to this virtual computer, install whatever remote desktop software you want (AnyDesk, etc) inside the virtualized Windows system. This way, you can give anybody you choose access to the virtual computer, and they won't be able to see anything on your actual physical computer. However, be aware that they do have access to your local network, so if you have sensitive stuff on there that is wide open (NAS drives etc), be aware of that.
If you want, after setting it up, you can create a Snapshot, allowing you to revert the state of the virtual machine to that snapshot, wiping out any changes to the virtual machine that were done after. E.g. you could set it all up for what you want to do, then create a snapshot, then give someone access to the virtual machine who might install some virus or whatever, once they're done then you can restore that snapshot and anything they have done since you creating that snapshot will disappear without a trace.
Anyway, maybe look for some tutorials, there's probably lots of resources on youtube also to give you an idea of how to do that. One advice so, before you spend any money on ebay or whatever to hire such a person, be sure to have it all set up and know how you can attach your phone and make it available into your virtualized Windows. They're going to expect that. Simply plugging your phone into your physical computer is not sufficient as you'll have to attach it to your virtual machine as well. Once you're confident you have it all working, then go spend money and do it.
