yea people dont realize the FE series is a powerful phone, way better than the A5x series samsung phones. An dthe trade in value for the FE phone stays strong even 2-3 years later.

you don't need 180 days service, only pay it for the order, 180 days later after activation, you will be able to get unlocked...

That is what I am referring to. I continue to see VZN flashed firmware until I move SIM to another US carrier. Then I see that US carrier screen when I boot up the phone. Like I said maybe Metro does things differently.

I originally thought I had to wait until 5/5/24. I did try it just after midnight today 5/4/24 and got the error 37.....but I tried again an hour ago and it unlocked! 🙃

What was your activation date? It's in the metro activation confirmation email. Mine was 11/7 and I just tried and was denied. I'm hoping tomorrow is my day...

I didn't keep the email, but I counted the days till unlock. I did however activate the phone number before I got the phone in the mail, so maybe that sped up the process....

mine unlocked after 3 am ET on 180 day might have to clear the unlock app data so resync with server

Per Metro email, Activated 11/7/23. Today 5/5 is 180 days. Still cannot unlock Reason code 37. Anyone else with 11/7 activation date having success? Will continue to try next 1-2 days.

I had the same activation date and was able to unlock today without issues. I got this error yesterday when I tried it.

I believe you will always get this as its still a Metro firmware. I typically flash the generic U1/XAA firmware once I unlock a phone. For US FW, you can get it at https://www.sammobile.com/samsung...711U1/XAA/ Also gets rid of all the bloatware from the provider.
