If you don't need the wireless remote (and I never do as I use Google Home with voice control) then you can get the wall-switch dimmers for a lot less.

$45 for three. I have used about 15 of these in my home, with great results. They also work with Google Home or Alexa.
Thanks for the tip on the Feit dimmers. Unfortunately I've read quite a few reviews about them being very difficult to get and keep working unless your wiring is very straightforward. I'm not sure I'd want to take everything apart, do the rewrite, only to find it's not the best overall solution.

This is apples to oranges comparison. Unfortunately, the clear winner in smart lighting (at least controlling at the switch) is Lutron. Though they come with a hefty price Frown

Feit Wifi vs Lutron - not a comparison. Lutron is a champ, while many of the wifi solutions are only so so. Plus Lutron can install without a ground wire if needed.

I will typically only use Lutron switches…you just need one hub and then just buy the switches and remote controls as needed. I love this system as it negates having to smash through my drywall for the wires when installing new recessed lights…huge time saver! I have had some of mine for almost 8 years with no problems whatsoever.

Feit has poor quality products in terms of manufacturing controls and software controls vs Lutron which shows in the price in which you are paying. I'd get Kasa switches over Feit if you're going to go cheap. Otherwise you're better sticking with Lutron which have always been solid.

No doubt a good product and if I had the amex 40% I would get it. For now, I'll stick to the Feits while not as good, work pretty decently and are a better value proposition. If I had the extra money to burn, I'd go with this deal.

Lutron is way better. I'm not a big fan of the style of these caseta switches, and I really like the new style better. I can tell you the diva style are 5000000x more guest friendly and equally more operating in the dark friendly. I really wanted the pro hub, which costs about as much as this kit does on its own. You need the pro version to integrate lutron with home assistant without relying on the cloud. So if you use home assistant and don't want to use the cloud, don't get this kit.

I purchased one of these for my LED lights. It lasted about two weeks and went out. I got a replacement set and that lasted a little longer like a month then went out as well. I returned it and purchased the kasa wifi smart switches. I've had those for over a year and they are working flawlessly. I wouldn't recommend casetta unless you have a simple set up maybe.

Isn't this the same product available for $97 on clearance at Walmart?

Looks like a great deal and beats this Amazon deal for those without Amex.

Thanks for this comment. I didn't know there was a pro version of the hub or that it made a difference. I wasn't sure what you meant by "relying on the cloud", but I found a thread in the home assistant community [home-assistant.io] with more information.

Those comments are almost 4 years old, not sure they're still relevant. I have my consumer grade Caseta bridge connected to Home Assistant and have no issues - not sure if it's cloud dependent or not, The "Devices and Services" tab in Home Assistant doesn't show a cloud icon next to my "Home Assistant Supervisor" integration, which may or may not mean anything, but other cloud based integrations show a cloud icon. Home Assistant showed my Lutron devices as soon as I spun it up. I'll try pulling the WAN cable from my router after the work day is over to see if my Home Assistant Caseta integrations still work, I don't think I had to enter my Caseta credentials for Home Assistant to recognize my devices, but I could be wrong. Not trying to say anyone's wrong here, just trying to figure out if I'm missing out on anything not having the Pro bridge.
