Looks like the Buy 3 months Get 3 Months Free that Best Buy has been offering every October isn't coming this year. There are usually 2 deals around this time of year but this post is the only one from Best Buy so far. Not bad with all plans working out to $10-15 a month.
Best Buy has a 3-Month Mint Mobile sim/eSIM 15GB/Month + Unlimited Talk/Text + $30 Best Buy eGift Card for $60 & More + Free S&H
There's also a deal for unlimited data with a $45 Best Buy eGift card for $90.
These plans work out to $10 a month considering the gift card which can be used to roll the deal: These plans work out to $15 a month considering the gift card which can be used to roll the deal:There are also eSIMs available but the reviews are horrible. I purchased one but haven't tried activating yet. But I have used physical SIMs from Best Buy without issue and eSIMs from Mint Mobile's website without issue.

Obviously it's possible, new ownership and everything. But, if they did it the same time as last year, they probably wouldn't introduce it till later this month..

I pay at&t $84 a month per month for a phone I bought outright 3 years ago. I get 9gb per month of data.
I want to keep my same number, upgrade my phone and pay less than $80
Thanks!

Easy switch. Bring your phone, port over, select a plan. I pay $200 a year for unlimited talk, text, and 5gbs of data. Comes out to about $16ish a month.
