Got my order for 2 phones delivered today, and got them both activated to start the countdown clock on the unlock. For anyone who bought one just to activate for the one-month plan you purchased and unlock, the easiest way is the automated phone service (the online process wasn't working for me):

1) 1-877-430-2355
2) Press 2 to Activate Device
3) Press 2 for a New Number
4) Follow voice prompt to enter IMEI, ZIP code, create PIN, etc. When asked by the prompt if you want to "add to an existing account", say "No". If you purchased a plan with the phone, it will recognize this and automatically activate the SIM for the plan.

When the voice prompt tells you to power on the device, the instructions were incomplete and unclear. If you've never activated a phone before here are the steps:

1) Attached to the box for your phone is the associated SIM card in a pouch; remove and punch out the nano-SIM.
2) Using the SIM tool in the iPhone box (or a small paperclip), pop out your SIM card tray and insert the nano-SIM.
3) Re-insert the SIM tray into the iPhone and power on the phone.
4) Go through the setup process; I recommend connecting to WiFi when prompted to make things go faster.
5) Your phone should be activated within a few minutes of being powered on with the SIM inserted, assuming you went through all the steps in the automated phone activation.
So no luck at Tega Cay, SC Walmart. They did have at least 2 in stock. The guy was nice looking into it for 30 mins or so. He finally found out the Walmart had to have the WARP system for in-store phone activation so call up or local Walmart to ask if they have that. He mentioned the store in Rock Hill, SC on Dave Wylie had the WARP system.

I'm not going to waste my time going there, but thought I'd help others. Be sure to call the local Walmart you are going to, ask if they have the phone in stock (both stores said online they didn't have stock, but both stores did have them in stock) and ask if they have the WARP system for activation. Good luck everyone.
Yes done it three times now. Use it a few times with the straighttalk network for a few days first though. Text, call, browse then 61 days later unlocked.

When did it happen? I'm still getting "There is insufficient inventory to purchase the requested product."

The trick is if you are able to go to the final checkout page - hit place order once. If you get the insufficient error, its ok but don't click again (you are already too late). Just leave it on that final confirmation page.
Now open an incognito page of the Iphone SE, keep refreshing until you see it back in stock. Once you see it go back in stock, go back to your other page and try to place the order again.

I was able to order two phones with a single plan. I will be curious to see if I can activate both phones on the same plan?
Don't be surprised when you can't.

Store employees seem to be totally inept. Was told last night they had 7 of the ST SE's in stock. Today, the guy in electronics claimed to have zero. He was wrong and realized it after I made him check. So I bought two and two $35 plan cards.
Can't get either of the plan cards to be accepted with either phone. ST says the store isn't scanning them correctly. Store seems clueless but gave me two more pins to try. No luck.

ST website says the pins are no good. Anyone else run into this issue.

Now it's just saying "out of stock" on the product page and you can't get it into your cart.

That's normal, just have to keep trying.. Once you've added to your cart, and try to checkout and all, more likely you are already too late. But just follow my tip - same thing happened to me at first.

Just got an email from straight talk that one of my orders was cancelled. Anyone else?

Ordered from the website early this morning when it first popped off.

I'll keep trying but been at it nearly an hour now. Starting to wonder if it's out of stock good and proper.
