1) 1-877-430-2355
2) Press 2 to Activate Device
3) Press 2 for a New Number
4) Follow voice prompt to enter IMEI, ZIP code, create PIN, etc. When asked by the prompt if you want to "add to an existing account", say "No". If you purchased a plan with the phone, it will recognize this and automatically activate the SIM for the plan.
When the voice prompt tells you to power on the device, the instructions were incomplete and unclear. If you've never activated a phone before here are the steps:
1) Attached to the box for your phone is the associated SIM card in a pouch; remove and punch out the nano-SIM.
2) Using the SIM tool in the iPhone box (or a small paperclip), pop out your SIM card tray and insert the nano-SIM.
3) Re-insert the SIM tray into the iPhone and power on the phone.
4) Go through the setup process; I recommend connecting to WiFi when prompted to make things go faster.
5) Your phone should be activated within a few minutes of being powered on with the SIM inserted, assuming you went through all the steps in the automated phone activation.
I'm not going to waste my time going there, but thought I'd help others. Be sure to call the local Walmart you are going to, ask if they have the phone in stock (both stores said online they didn't have stock, but both stores did have them in stock) and ask if they have the WARP system for activation. Good luck everyone.

Any good, legal ways to give them a taste of their own medicine? This is a pretty awful move from a branding standpoint.
I followed these steps to purchase the phones without any plans:
1. Purchased a new phone with $35 plan and activated immediately to get the phone number associated with the new account. I think if you already have a straight talk account then you can skip this step and go to the next step.
2. Visited the other walmart store having this phone in stock and asked the rep to add the new line to this account and as soon as he entered the phone number and account pin it showed three options to add a new line, add a new line with port in and there is a third option that is something similar to the upgrade like we have on the postpaid phones as it showed that this line is eligible for upgrade
3. I asked the rep to try the upgrade option and after all the steps and the final payment showed only $49 and the existing plan of $35 was selected for this new phone.
4. I paid the amount of $49+ taxes for the second phone and inserted the new sim card attached to the new phone and it got activated successfully with the existing number on the account
5. I checked the unlock date of the first phone as soon as its activated and got a response that the device will be unlocked by this date. As soon as I transferred the same line to the new phone, I checked the unlock date for this second phone and it also sent me a text that this second device will be unlocked by this date.
On my straight talk account, I can see 2 IMEIs of the phones with status as INACTIVE and the third phone which I purchased at last and activated on the same phone number is showing ACTIVE on the account. This is expected as the line was transferred from one phone to another and they are showing the first two IMEIs INACTIVE on the account
She scanned on the cellphone workstation then checked me out at Walmart register next to it
Went home, poped in both sim cards, they already have phone numbers assigned. And got text with Jan 6 2024 auto unlock date in text.
Pretty smooth

And it was either chargeback or wait a month for them to suddenly refund your money. If you chargeback Tracfone will put you on their list.
