I don't think we have seen steep GPU discounts since before 2019....only in the past 12 months have prices started to come back to earth with the crypto ming rush dying down, and COVID supply chain moving back up to full speed. There may be several more discounts like this in 2 weeks, but I wouldn't expect anything substantial until end of 2024 when it would be the earliest time that the next series of GPUs would start appearing and last generation GPUs start selling off.

I got a challenger pto 6750xt from microcenter and it overclocks like a champ...with a 5600x it's in the top 10%percentile and with a 7900x it was ranked 14th in 3dmark timespy...this is a good deal but expect a 7700 to be around 400 and 7800xt around 450 usd...if you can spare another 150, 7800xt is the way to go.
