What are you even talking about lmao, it works completely fine for gaming, hit around 100fps in a majority of games with an UW.

This is equivalent to it essentially being a full generation behind in gaming performance. Even worse, the quad core intel i3-12100f and i3-13100f (which occasionally goes on sale for ~$65) are actually faster in gaming than the r5 5500: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JPP...U

In conclusion, if gaming is your primary concern you'd be much better off getting the faster (in gaming) quad core 13100f for ~$65 (almost $20 cheaper). That'd also net you a newer platform, pcie gen 4 support, and even the option to use ddr5. If you want gaming performance and better multithreaded performance, go for the r5 5600. The r5 5500 only makes sense for those who want at least 6 cores and don't care about gaming performance.

Not recommended for new builds, go pcie4 or better, you deserve it.
