I personally love LG and Dolby vision, but I refuse to pay more for inferior tech, so I'll try this Samsung out. A lot of people say hdr 10 and dv are not distinguishable.

Also worth notating, this is a gen 2 qd oled panel. Same as the s95c meaning this panel easily outperforms the LG C2 in brightness and colors. I guess the price is lower cause they don't have to pay DV licensing fees.. I wonder how much those are per set?

UPDATE: I CANCELLED MY ORDER!
I went to bestbuy again for the third time in the past 3 days and decided to go with the LG G3. Color accuracy is just better with LG IMO and I don't want to spend hours tinkering and calibrating the Samsung display which may be better, but just isn't dialed in out of the box. Also, I don't think I can live w/out DV... I saw a few comparisons and we are talking about 12 bit color depth vs 10 bit. Their is a difference.

Did your cashback end up posting for Samsung EPP?
Just got an email saying that the points have been funded. I played a bit or roulette here. At the time of purchasing, my EPP showed 3% back on TVs and 15% back on Mobile, however both hyperlinks open the same app. I took a risk and purchased using the 15% back link and they just funded $285 worth of points.

How to guide:

1. Must have EPP/EDU/AAA
2. Using Shop App, go to page where you can add to cart. Here it defaults to S95C when selecting 77". There is a hyperlink on the right side (above model selection boxes) "Available only with Samsung offer programs ". Click on that
3. Right below SAMSUNG on top of page, you will see the directory (Home/Television Home Theatre/ TVs/All TVs/Oled vs/....) click directly on "/Oled TVs"
4. Look for S90C, click on the size you want (below image of TV)
5. Click buy now
6. You will now have the S90C in the size you chose, and now you can add to cart.
7. If using a Samsung device, swipe down to refresh and you'll have "lucky day" discount. (?Some had success in browsers, or using Samsung browsers)
I have an iPhone. What is the Samsung browser?

What do you mean by cash back on EPP? Is that a separate site? Which link are you referring to as 15% back?

I use Perks at Work as EPP through my employer. They have the concept of cashback points.

Okay after like two days of trying I was finally successful getting lucky day discount + epp + 2 years of Samsung Care.

I have two iPhones and no matter what I did I could not get the lucky day to come up on the app. I tried two EPP accounts, uninstalling app, refreshing, nothing. I had a random idea and tried it and this is how I got the lucky day to work:

I saw a lot of people were having success with Samsung devices so I went on Bluestacks Android Emulator on Windows that mimics an S22 Ultra. I tried the Samsung app on there but it wont let you log in so I tried the chrome browser on there and signed in to my epp account. On the chrome browser on bluestacks I added S90C to cart and refreshed and instantly got the lucky day discount. I then went on my normal Windows Chrome browser and went to my cart and it reflected over.

Lastly I asked chat for a 2 Year Care Plan code. They kept trying to give me a cart link so I had to be very persistent to get a code but finally got one. Adding this brought my cart to $1,899.99 (before tax) with Samsung Care+ 2 Years.

I then used my Discover card that has 5% cashback on Amazon and used Amazon pay to get another $75 off, and used another cb site to get another $140 off so my total was $1810 all in.
Very nice--I didn't know Amazon pay triggered the 5% Discover cashback. Which cb site did you use to get $140 off?

Ooh, nice and congrats! Smilie

Perhaps it's different depending on the employer you work for, but I'm currently seeing 2% back on TVs and 10% back on home appliances.

Were you ever able to get and use a $200 off promo code with your EPP discount?

They told me I have 15 days after the TV arrives to return. No fees. They can even arrange for a pickup

Samsung rep said the care+ was 2 years total not in addition to the 1st year.

If you place this order now, I can create a checkout link for you by adding free 2 years care+ plan worth $349.99. How does that sound?
We offer Samsung care+ to ensure your TV is protected from mechanical and electrical breakdown..

All our TVs come with 1 year standard warranty.

Visitor message sent at 09:54 AM:
so this will bring it to 3 years total, correct?

Operator message sent at 09:55 AM:
Warranty and care+ have different coverages, therefore they run parallelly from day 1. So, it is 2 years coverage.

I was told the same, so yep it's 2 years not 3 years like others were saying

The Bluestax advice from a page back worked like a charm for me to get the 1899 price. Would not work on my iphone or ipad at all.

Chatted with the samsung rep for the samsung care warranty without issue. I'm pretty stoked on this because I don't see a better deal right now for an OLED, although who knows what will go on in the next few weeks.
