God damnit. I got burned hard by a bad HDMI board from Onkyo years ago. It was a giant recall that the old heads in here will remember. But for this price I'm thinking of rolling the dice again. SMH I'll never learn.
Me too brother
Told myself I would stay away
Seems like they would of done a massive recall to fix this well known problem

I am in the same boat. Just looked over their website a little and didn't see anything obviously mentioning a price adjustment policy. And of course it's Thanksgiving so I doubt customer service is available. Probably not worth ordering again and returning for ~$20 refund, especially given how big and heavy it is.
Same here. I reached out to them via their web contact form and they issued me a $20 store credit. They responded quickly even though it was a holiday.

This seems like a great receiver, but I know so little about them. I just want my ps5 to look and sound great through it when playing and watching movies. Is this a great deal?
Any mention of hdmi 2.1 if not then pass.. unless you hook ps5 up to your 2.1 tv then audio goes to receiver.

I ordered on Tuesday, it won't be here until Saturday. Paid $319. Emailed support this afternoon and within 2 hours got a response that they're adjusting the price and refunding me $20.

Confirm it gets 4k at 120hz. You'd want that if you are looking to hook up ps5 to receiver

They replaced the hdmi board for free.
In my case case I missed the window because my receiver was not hooked up for a certain period of time. It was barely used! Very few hours. Imagine my dismay when I finally get to it, it just doesn't work because of crap internals. We moved, then a few years later after moving when I get around to hooking it up again, the dreaded HDMI chip is no longer initializing. It must've gone bad right at the end before moving and nobody noticed. I used it so little though, it had maybe 20 hours on it.

In 4 1. My Yamaha RX-V673 succumbed to the DTS chip failure after bringing it back to life with a reflow a couple times. Looking forward to some of the features on this thing.

What could be good speakers for these? Mostly for TV, we have Vizio 5.1 soundbar with subwoofer and 2 satellite speakers, its good but it keeps turning off on its own after say few hours.
