2. Get another number for data ONLY. Switch to the cheapest you can find every a few months. You are always a new user because you don't need to port in your number for it.
With two SIMs active in one phone, you can use one for calls/texts, and the other for data.

Just google the name of the phone you're interested in, along with "dual sim." e.g. google "pixel 8 pro dual sim"
its fine for me, cause it works. just wondering if anybody else experienced that. Also I thought they alternate to att depending on network availability..
I have been buying them from Best buy since boost came out with these...ported my main # to Google voice, and every 3 months I pop a new one of these sims in, register, takes 2 min, new throwaway email and random name, address, and 2min later I have a new number, another 3 months of 5gb data, and unlimited voice and text, which doesn't matter since I'm using GVoice & only need the data really, but it is nice having a free new throwaway number every 3 months too..
OH AND another great thing, full speed hotspot, can share all the data at 5g speeds...unlike some companies.
Buy it from Walmart, BestBuy or Target and you won't need to enter payment info when activating plan.

After flipping the P7P from that deal, I have spent a net $33 for the last 18 months of service on a 5GB+ 5g data (hotspot included) w/ unlimited talk and text, all while keeping my number.
Mint has bundled 3 and 6 additional months free to heavily discounted 'current' handsets for their promos. I'm hoping for something similar next summer after my 3 months of Boost are up.
Believe is onT-Mobile network... can anyone confirm activation date print on the card.. usually till 2024
Not sure if you're part of the scam or just like to spread misinformation.
In every sim/data package they clearly say xGB/month, this one says $15(for the first 3month) gives you unlimited talk&text and 5gb of data. After that you can choose a plan with xGB of data per month.
Of course, you're encouraged to call boost and check, preferably after your have used your 5gb, and the 2nd month just started and no new 5gb was added to your account.

Their plan is 5gb per month... check the threads over the past years, they all work the same way. They don't have a 5gb per 3 month plan. As for extra data, you are correct... $5 for 1gb, $10 for 2gb, $15 for 5gb. I work from home and am on wifi 97% of the time, so I've never need to purchase the add on.
