Absolutely insane to put kids on these without input from a pediatrician. People really think because something is sold over the counter that it can have no adverse effects.

It's marketed as a kids melatonin so it's on the low side of melatonin per gummy but it's a decent enough deal

- keep an eye on these melatonin deals that claim 5 or 10 mg melatonin - frequently they are measuring this by "serving size" instead of per gummy so your total count should be reduced by 1/2 if you take the "Serving size" versus a single gummy. In this case 2.5mg is for one gummy which is ok.

Why is this better than the tablet which comes out cheaper? Do these work better?

Most modern dosage studies that I have read state that 2-3 mg works best for most adults and 1-2mg for children. I've read some studies that show that more than that can have the opposite effect(actually keep you awake), but usually when you get above 5mg and more into the 10mg range. Definitely do your homework though on dosing with melatonin.

I wouldn't worry about it. It's not like what it says on the label is what's even in the supplement most of the time.

This brand of Melatonin is pretty effective as compared to other brands that I'd used.

The one I read said that 0.5mg is best for adults, and 0.25mg for kids.

In my personal exp, that's the best dose. If I eat 5mg I wake up the next morning with a headache

Taking melatonin will make you come dependent on melatonin. Find ways to wind down without using melatonin. Our bodies naturally produce it and you gain a much higher tolerance when taking these. Its treating the symptom not the problem.

is it just me that the label depicts a child like figure? would that make you a little bit nervous about the intent every child seeing this will think its a candy for kids, just saying it was the first thing i noticed and had read exactly what the product was.
