Only the 4k Max stick has the 2.0 Quad Core CPU and that's currently 39.99 but it also comes with 16gb of storage. Better deal in my view

Smart TV operating systems can range from terrible to... strange. It seems like many times the manufacturers just don't care to make an intuitive user interface. It may take longer to figure out the quirks of your OS than to just plug in a Fire Stick and use a nice clean interface, especially if you're already used to the system. If you're any kind of power user, you can install third-party apps, add VPN functionality, access local and online cloud storage, basically anything your heart desires all within the Android ecosystem.

In short: Smart TV OS bad, Fire Stick good

4K stick also has 2GB of RAM, not 1GB. Storage is increased by 8GB in Max, and slightly faster chip, but that's about it, as both have Wi-Fi 6.

If you don't need the extra storage, prob. not worth the extra money.
