Kicking Horse is roasted in Canada, and various Canadian stores have it at a great price on sale if you're in the area. 16 oz package for about the equivalent of USD 8.00.

I used to love this stuff, but after the company got bought out by Lavazza, I think the quality has decreased. The aroma doesn't seem to be there anymore, and the coffee now seems bland.

Tried this in a previous SD in July 21. Was a little cheaper that time, but wasn't everything cheaper in '21!?
Pretty good coffee, in my opinion.

I also bought this last time it was posted and hated it. Personal preference I guess.

Loved this in the past but 10oz price made me switch to Gerhart Coffee Company. One time SD for this PA roaster now I just ordered more from them as my last Kicking horse SD runs out. I loved 454 and kick ass but this I prefer gerhart even without a sale.

West wind, Guatemala and others working for me.. small operation it seems with personal notes and USPS mailing

Oof. Didnt know they got bought out. Corporate greed ends all.
Good for the owners. Quality will inevitably will drop for the good of shareholders. I exclusivey drink their three sisters flavor but might have to consider finding an alternative. How sad.

Tried this. It was highly acidic and caused me heartburn each and every time. I'm a daily coffee drinker and this one is the only one with such a reaction. My typical go-to are Black Cat, StumpTown, and iLLy. Good drinking!

Based on your favs, you should give Counter Culture or Methodical a chance.

Good coffee. It's not bland. It hasn't changed.
