I'd you don't need more than a 4050 this one is probably quieter and cooler. Pretty happy with our 3050s, although 1600p on a 4050 is probably not great.

As VarmintCong posted, it's 1600p.

I have the 2022 G14 w/ RX 6800s and 1600p screen. For action games, the extra resolution isn't helpful, but it's great for Tabletop Simulator, browsing, video, photos, and productivity, even on a 14" screen. I wouldn't be happy going back to 1200p or 1080p.

However, I'd wait for the RTX 4060 version to go on sale again (better [youtube.com] gaming performance than 4050).

fyi the 7735HS is a refresh of the 6800HS and is based on the 6nm not the 4nm that is the 7740HS/4060 combo.
