Requires AT&T service and phone payment plan. You may want to include that in your title.

This is wrong. The rep for you was wrong.

I worked at Verizon many years ago and would always have to correct mistakes the telesales and internet sales reps would make.

There are multiple trade in prices. Ex: Unlimited Welcome ($27 for multiple lines) earns you $415 trade in.

If you select unlimited plus or ultimate you receive I believe it was $830 or higher.

I don't know how to get the trade in through Walmart though.

Without the trade in. The Verizon store is a better deal if you have any old phone to trade in (pixel OG gets you $415). This is for new line. I haven't researched upgrades recently so I can't speak on that.
Hi Rob- GraphikzkingI would value your input- I was offered this - I called it middle deal Unlimited plus. I posted below Best deal right?

Is anyone else's head spinning? trying to figure this out? VZ store offered and qualified for me first responder deal- middle plan with 5g and hot spot 30Gig x4 line $160 mo + and free activation get iPhone 15 " free" with trading in of my iPhones from my grave yard collection.series 4 and 5. 36 mo. Seems like a deal to me? Then I sell my 4 att iPhone 12 minis x 4 @$200 each.

Btw, AT&T unlock plan.

https://slickdeals.net/f/17028796-verizon-or-at-t-128gb-apple-iphone-13-new-or-added-line-8-30-mo-fo...

1) activate new iPhone with AT&T eSim (it's likely already activated before you even receive it).
2) pay off new iPhone from AT&T app
3) on new iPhone, login to your same apple account as on existing iPhone
4) on old unlocked iPhone, go under cellular, add cellular plan, you should see option to transfer eSim from another iPhone (from new iPhone). go ahead and do that! Note: I did this from existing iPhone to iPhone 13 deal 2 weeks ago, using RedPocket GSMA (AT&T).
5) make some calls with the new eSim on old iPhone. wait until it shows active in your AT&T account, and number/iccid assigned to your old iPhone.
6) submit unlock request from AT&T portal for new iPhone. click the link in the confirmation email. Hopefully you receive the unlock confirmation email shortly (could be from a minute to a day).

Once that unlock confirmation email is received, you should be able to "put a different sim" in the new iPhone, that is your existing or new eSim from another carrier. Hopefully someone can test and confirm that this works!
thanks !!!

From other comments, you can only order 1 at a time. Just order again adding a new line (or upgrading a different line).

Yeah but I'm trying to figure out how much my phone will get. The first link just says that they give you a gift card for the trade in. The second link seems to take me to the generic black Friday at
The only time I had traded in a phone was at a corporate ATT store. They had a Samsung promo, bring any Samsung phone dead or alive, cracked or new and get $800 in billing credits.

I have never done a Walmart trade in because the attraction of the Walmart deal is the no plan change if you do not trade in. I learned the hard way because billing credits = jail time for that line for 36 months or you forfeit the remaining credits.

I hope someone who has traded in previous years can chime in and help everyone out.

For those who can't get to the terms page here it is in verbatim:

Limited time offer.
You'll need to:
 • Purchase an eligible smartphone on a qualifying installment agreement, including taxes on full retail price (up front) and $35 activation/upgrade fee.
 • Activate/keep postpaid eligible unlimited voice & data wireless service (min. $75/mo. if new before discounts. Existing customers can add to their current unlimited plan, if eligible, which may be less). AT&T may temporarily slow data speeds if the network is busy.
 • Trade-in an eligible smartphone in good working condition within 30 days of activation.

Then you'll get:
 • Up to $1000 in bill credits on iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max only with smartphone trade-in value of $230 or higher
 • Up to $830 in bill credits with smartphone trade-in value of $130-$229
 • Up to $350 in bill credits with smartphone trade-in value of $35 to $129

Important notes:
 • Guarantee limited to current iPhone 15 series trade-in promos (up to $830 off all eligible devices with min. $130 trade-in value; up to $1000 off iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max with min. $230 trade-in value) for new and existing consumer AT&T postpaid wireless customers; excludes offers available through select channels. Offers vary by device; subject to change.
 • Credits start within 3 bills after trade-in is completed and will be applied in equal amounts over the term of installment agreement. You will receive catch-up credits once bill credits start. Credit will not exceed the lower of the device cost or the max credit amount as defined above.
 • If you cancel wireless service, your credits will end and you'll owe the remaining balance on the installment agreement for the device purchased.
 • For new lines, if you cancel service on any other line on your account within 90 days of activating the line under this offer, device credits will stop.

I would like to know that too. Anyone who ordered with Verizon, can you confirm if you get any trade-in instructions from Walmart that might indicate the walmart specific trade-in value details that we can use while sending the old device to Verizon?

Same question I have. I want some type of guarantee that my IPhone 11 Pro Max will bring the $830 in credit on my Unlimited Welcome plan. Easy question but the answer is hard to find.

So the iPhone 15 Pro 256 is $1099 from Apple. Unlocked.

But Walmart wants $33.31 x 36 which is $1199.

Then you'll get:

 • Up to $350 in bill credits with smartphone trade-in value of $35 to $129

 • To qualify for $1000 credit, minimum Trade-In value must be $230 or higher after device condition questions have been answered

I have done this deal 2 years in a row with success. We have 5 lines on our family plan and have been with AT&T for a long time. We are not in love with AT&T but no one in the plan seems to want to switch every couple of years. This PROMO is great for those with family plan that don't plan on switching.

Buy the phone you want from Walmart. Make sure you activate the device. Then swap your data on to the new phone. Once everything is there, wipe the old phone.

IMPORTANT! Bring the phone to a Corporate AT&T store and do the trade in. Tell them you just signed up for 36 months and bought a qualifying phone and it has a trade in offer. MAKE NO MENTION OF WALMART.

They will answer the questions and check the phone out. Get a printed receipt. No email. The email doesn't show any information. If the printer they sent the receipt to is out of paper, ask for a screen print or they give you a receipt. Following this will give you peace of mind and save you from any hassle down the line.

From this point on, the responsibility of the phone is with AT&T. AVOID ANY TEMPTATION TO MAIL THE PHONE IN. If the person at the store says you must mail in. Then say you spoke to George on the phone and it can be brought to the store as you don't have any means or capability to mail anything in.

The past 2 trade ins I did, I got the credit within the first month. Two of them to be exact. Once to catch up and the other for the current month. If they rip you off, then you have the receipt to complain to the FCC.

I know I took up time in the store and if it goes smoothly, I will buy a SBUX gift card for the person helping me. If you don't have a trade-in, then Swappa is your friend. My buddy did this and actually got a refurbished phone that had "already" been trade in at AT&T. Circle of life, what are the chances? Had to go to another Corporate Store with a more Senior Person to fix but it got done.

Anyone know a fix for Walmart's system not being able to verify your att data? I'm sure I'm entering my number, last 4 of ssn and zip correctly when trying to upgrade. I'm on an unlimited plan so it should work.
