It's crazy, I agree. Since they never go on sale for less than $30, even the used market on ebay still has these going for $25 when they should be like $5 used at this point given how many physical copies are out there.

Nintendo NEVER devalues a game, so if you don't catch it on sale (the 99% of life) you're either paying retail or you see a BF "sale" like this and go "....eh, that's a damn good price!"

Is it worth my 40usd? I actually thought it would drop lower judging by the mixed reviews. Same thing happened to me last year but worse with Sonic Frontiers, I bought it for full price and then it dropped to 30usd in two weeks lmao

Odd we haven't seen Nintendo release the "Selects" line of games for the Switch. Maybe after the successor is announced, they'll put the Wii U ports on there for $30. Smilie

Wow I had assumed it was an older Sonic game, but if it's already down to $40, how soon will it go even lower?

My consensus of the reviews are that it was disappointing and short but may be worth playing on sale. Not sure why most reviewed platform is PS5. Steam reviews being only "Mixed" is troubling - I would normally be very cautious with anything less than "Very Positive" unless it is getting review-bombed.
