I am a huge fan of the series that was ecstatic to finally have the collection of original titles on the new Gen, unfortunately Konami has decided to take the lazy route and produce the bare minimum in performance. MG 1 and 2 run at 720p due to simply emulating the Xbox 360 version from the 2011 HD collection through an emulator. Metal Gear Solid 1 is a poorly performing port that some have proved looks worse then it did on the original PS1, MGS 2 and 3 are both emulated from the HD Collection as well at 720p upscaled to 1080p with no changes or improvements made. I will be returning my copy.
Bingo. Just another Konami cash grab. I don't care if this slop job drops to a penny, I'll pirate it or go without. Any real fan already has all of the [canon] games either in the Legacy Collection & MGSV or in their original form with appropriate consoles. Or you're like me and have both. The only reason I was remotely excited for this (Vol. 2) was to finally see MGS4 unshackled from the PS3. I have not, and will never again give a cent to the scumbags at Konami after MGSV was cut short. You all should do the same until THEY can prove to US that they can do the series justice with remakes/ports. Until then, if you buy this pathetic excuse of a lazy port job, all you're doing is telling them "please keep giving us more of this crap." Most MGS fans would agree that it's better to let the series die and RIP without Kojima than let Konami drag their nuts over Kojima's legacy more than they already have (looking at you Survive).
