Where I respectfully disagree is the difference in sets. Crown zenith has a great pull rate compared to other sets. That said, CZ pulls are going down in value (as expected).
If you are getting for a kid that goes crazy for pulls, you can't go wrong with the ETB plus bonus storage box and dice.
If you are getting for a modern player who will use in deck, the Pikachu box may be the better option.
Just my opinion though, would love constructive feedback.

Walmart - 7 packs for $25 ($3.57 ea)
BB ETB - 10 packs for $35 ($3.50 ea)
And no, the "pulls" are the exact same regardless of what product you're opening, same with all expansions/all product types.

That etb sounds tempting. But walmarts pickachu box has 7 packs so the extra $10 for an extra pack is eh...and I get the other goodies of the etb but I've opened up few of those already. I guess if you haven't I see tye appeal. And idk if the pulls are better in the etb vs something else.
The ETB has 10 packs in it, slightly better deal

I agree a pack from a set is a pack from a set. Same pull rate if comes in a box or single pack.

What I meant was within each expansion individually, the "pull rate" is the same regardless of getting 10 individual booster packs vs. one ETB (aka you shouldn't expect better or worse cards from the ETB solely by virtue of it being an ETB).
Some expansions are absolutely more sought after and have better cards - CZ is a good example with the galarian gallery subset, you just have to be aware of the cards within each set to know what you have the potential of pulling.
