Does anyone recommend these? I've had an Ender v2 but had to sell it a while back cause no space to use it cause the smell/fumes. Only learned the bare basic so looking for something that's more plug and play now.

No. The Ender 3 V3 SE or Sovol SV06 are under $200 and are pretty much self setting up. They've been surprisingly good in my evaluations. As far as bed flingers go, they are a positive user experience, and I'm a CoreXY/Klipper guy who swore off bed flingers years ago. I bought a Sovol SV06 Plus (larger print volume than regular SV06) on sale to print some stuff for my wife's job and patients she teaches. I installed Klipper on a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W, and it has worked great for me. Getting 250mm/s @ 4k acceleration with no issues.

reviews have been mixed on these within the community. I think the BambuLab P1P/P1S is a better deal in the midrange price point. https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/888769

Agreed, for $539 the P1P is a steal. Bambu is depreciating the value of every other brand at this point.

I've been eyeing Bambu and really tempted on the $850 P1S with AMS, but not in the budget yet.

I backed the kickstarter for these... five of them, in fact.

Anker was slow to deliver on promised software/firmware feature updates, and while I was waiting I'd peak over the fence at what was going on with the Bambu side of things... growing ever envious.

I made it about a year and bought a P1S ... it legitimately made me grin ear to ear. Boxed up my Ankers and haven't looked back.

I want competition and I actually want Anker(make) to do well... I hope that V6 color engine is a game changer even though it's more than a year behind already.... but you can go and compare the activity on the AnkerMake and Bambulabs subreddits to see a difference in the commitment between the two companies.

A sub-$200 M5C might still be compelling, though.

Edit: FWIW - I had an Ender 3 and (still own) a Prusa MK3S+ before the Ankers.

500 mm a second… Is this even remotely possible with a printer of this cost?

Anybody considering this should read the one star reviews… Granted, every manufacturer has lemons, but this is a bit much… It's a hard pass for me

What's ams? And feature wise does the p1s and p1p have a large difference? Seems like it's only a 60$ difference

None of them do the actual listed speeds in practical use. But they are somewhat close and all significantly faster (3-4x) than the older bed slingers (like a Ender).

P to S:

Plastic enclosure, as opposed to printable enclosure
Closed loop control cooling fan system
Activated carbon air filtration
Premium toolhead cable with cable chain
ABS and ASA full compatibility

And AMS is the 4 color system you can add to the printer

You 100% won't regret Bambu, I bought a x1cc little over a year ago it was expensive but well worth it.
I don't see a reason to buy this k1 is $150 cheaper

The P1P is on sale for $574 after shipping, and it's hands down the better buy right now
