The resolution is 7680x2160 "Dual 4K UHD" so it is essentially pumping out 16,588,800 pixels compared to standard 4K (3840x2160) with 8,294,400 pixels. So about a 2x performance demand on your graphics card over 4K.
The refresh rate of 240Hz as well causes some headaches depending on the GPU used. Nvidia (as of right now) does not even support [tomshardware.com] 240Hz at this resolution with their graphics cards, while AMD does. This is a bit of a quandary as the 4090 is the better GPU on average.
Productivity wise it's a great monitor with massive real estate to utilize. Spreadsheets, programming, documents...etc.
Lastly, Samsung unfortunately still maintains a higher rate of QC issues with their newest tech, so I'd highly recommend price matching this at a retail store like Microcenter or Best Buy if possible along with one of their aftermarket warranties if desired.
In all seriousness, outside of a few issues, such as unable to wake from sleep, back panel peeling off from the massive size, and unable to play games because all the mini maps and info panels are so far off to the side of the screen, the only graphics card in existence that can show 240hz is the Radeon 7900 xtx with its DP 2.1 spec. Even RTX 4090 can only display 120hz.

The extended warranty might also might be better with best buy than Samsung which id personally recommended in either case.
I use my 57" for productivity but it's going back due to dark blotches near the center. I'm picky and although it otherwise perfect won't accept QC issues. Good news is that reordering it will be $600 cheaper although I will be back to ancient monitors which affect my work IRL until this replacement arrives... This is not ideal as it can take 6-12 weeks for a replacement AND I have to put up the funds for the replacement in advance. Still this is the cheapest I have seen this monitor and have no interest in an OLED version as it would not be great for my use case (both work and games).
I do feel that the only monitor that can replace it is same thing. It's still the best monitor I have ever used as a software engineer. Other than when I have to share my screen on teams!
I may be in a unique situation where I want to connect 4+ computers at home and have awesome resolution without boarders and multiple monitors stands on my desk. Make sure it will fit on yours!. I'm also in a unique situation where my Ergotron HX works fine with it (tightened all the joints before installation). Most people say it won't work but here I am with it working fine.
Anyways it's not the best thing for everyone but it is amazing for me. I wish everyone who orders good luck on this purchase and their future 4090 if they want to game full screen on it. You can also game 1/2 screen but I haven't figured out if you can enable local dimming in PBP mode. And well 1/2 is still 4k gaming but you will need to figure out how many days of pb&j it will take until you can use the whole thing.
Feel free for all me questions as I have found a few thunderbolt issues.
Cheers!
I would also like to connect 4 computers - how does this work exactly, and what is the kvm like? Right now I use 2 4k monitors with a dual HDMI + USB 4k 4 pc kvm switch that works pretty well. I just hit Ctrl Ctrl 1-4 Enter to switch to a PC and my monitors and USB peripherals come with me. If this provides similar functionality I'd be very interested. Thanks!
or just spend 1000 to get 2 nice IPS 32 4k monitor
