Amazon purchases always state the return window right below the Buy it now or add to cart of an item.

Per Amazon return policy

Extended Returns Information: For the 2023 holiday season, most of the items (other than Apple brand products) purchased between November 1 and December 31, 2023 can be returned until January 31, 2024. For Apple brand products, items purchased between November 1 and December 31, 2023 can be returned until January 15, 2024.

My guess is because $250 has been the standard sale price of late, so maybe ppl are expecting/ waiting for a better price point for a Black Friday sale?

Slick , canceled the folio and crayon after order place , waiting for pick up ready email now for the iPad only (if it doesn't cancel too). With red card discount as well if you have it. Total comes down to 201.79!

Something isn't right here. I bet you could have asked customer support to issue you a free return. I have successfully returned stuff shortly after the return period had expired before. In your case, they would have 100% helped you.

I would even contact customer support now. Worst case, they could issue you a credit to make up the difference. Especially if the return period was so short, which for Amazon makes no sense.

Say what you will about Amazon, but its customer service has been top notch for me.
Amazon has different return policy for Apple products. See this thread.

When I purchased an Apple product on earlier this year, it was 15 day return window AND UPS pickup only. No option to drop off anywhere, even after asking CS. They said it's Apple's policy and they won't do anything to circumvent it.

That being said, purchases after November 1 get an extended return period, although still not as long as other non-Apple products.

gee, this is a good price, I have been eyeing this ipad for around 2 years. I was going to buy it a few minutes ago, and quieted myself in mini-mediation, and calmed down, and then I knew NOT to buy this. The Slick Deal rooms get my juicies flowing with "buy, buy,buy", this is the best price it will ever be, get it, hurry up, .... tension mounting. And I am endorsing myself for "not buying this", at this amazing price. I have been calming myself down and relaxing, and going deeper into myself, and stopping the urge to "buy, buy, buy, immediately, best price ever. Buy now think about it later." way of thinking.

I got money in the bank, ... and I could buy it... but I have a house full of "stuff", from the 'buy,buy,buy" mindset.

I hope you guys enjoy this IPAD, you got the best price EVER on this device. Tipping my hat to my fellow Slick Dealers.
