As someone looking for a low TB solution, why the down votes?

4TB is still a fair amount of space. That's 40 lossless rip full size movies!

People generally evaluate HDD deals based on price per TB.

In this case, this deal is 4TB @ $20/TB. Typically between $10-$15 per TB is considered a good deal

What if my total budget is $200 for a 2 disk RAID set?

Get a 18TB drive like this one; it's shuck-able.

This is an enterprise-level drive. I use 4tb drives in my raid (4-disk) raid. This is an ok deal, but a price point @$50 would make this a slick deal, imho.

I think most regular users are moving away from these size hard drives and buying ssd instead. The 18TB drive that someone mentioned is a great price though.

No, it's not. The IronWolf is Seagate's NAS line. The Exos is their enterprise line.

CMR per the datasheet linked from the Amazon listing, despite this not being the Pro model.

Your budget doesn't change whether something is a good deal or not.
