Always new customers. Port your number to google voice, use this new plan to create a throw away number and then forward all calls to that number from google voice. When the 3 minths are up, pop in a new sim, activate and get a new number and then change your forwarding number to that new number and done. Rinse and repeat. You will always be able to use these deals then as a new customer

There are a few cons, which I dont think are deal-breakers (I've had Google Voice for years now):

You need an Android phone for seamless experience. On iPhone you need to use the app to make call. This is usually not a huge problem, but it is a PITA especially if you also use Apple Car play (siri-assisted calls/sms goes through phone's primary number)
Some banks (the only one I have trouble with is Chase.. there maybe others) don't do OTPs with Google Voice number. I just use the actual SIM's number for that.
Because you keep switching your real number to take advantage of new-customer offers all the time (you dont have to, but you do if you want cheapest price), you get assigned random numbers that random people have used to register at all kinds of sites. This usually means lots of spam calls. If you have a Pixel phone (or some other spam call filter), this is easily dealt with, but you need to

I still have a google voice number, but these drawbacks now annoy me enough so google voice is no longer my primary. But if your priority is to save money , there is nothing like Google Voice and taking advantage of those new-customer MVNO deals (I've lost count of Mint/Boost/Redpocket deals I've taken advantage of).

What i'm trying to say is.
I scanned the 15gb sim card package. When I buy other GC, I usually see the serial number on the physical receipt. I'm not seeing anything that could identify my specific sim card on the receipt. I only see the item number and that's it.
Usually if i scanned the wrong bar code, the transaction wouldn't complete. I don't recall what was scanned but it basically charged me for the sim card $60 and the bonus Target gc.
I won't be activating the sims for another few weeks and i'm concerned when I go activate, it will not be activated.

see attached
Have you bought sim kits before with a s/n (ICCID?) on the receipt? I don't think I have.

Don't know how they can enforce it. No way they can track the sim card number from retailers, unlike those sold directly from Mint website. I recent activated a Mint sim card that I bought from BB two years ago, and it's still good for 3 month, although there's a fine print there like 'activate within 45 days of purchase'.
I'm pretty sure they have to apply the amount you paid towards service for 5 years after the purchase date. Unless they somehow get around it being a gift card.

No worry. You will be fine. The question is more like if you can activate it after 45 days. The same for red pocket deal is whether you can activate it after 90 days. Somebody above argued it should be fine. Seems a fair argument to me.

Anyone able to get the 3+3 months of service? If yes, was there a specific method to get it? I am activating my service tomorrow and would like to make this a slicker deal. Thanks!

For the $40 target gift card that was sent out via email. Was it automatically loaded to your Target account or did you have to manually add it?

When I try to manually add the $40 target gift card to my target account, it says can't be added at this time. In my target wallet, I see a $40 target gift card but I'm unsure if that was an existing gift card I had from before or this is a new $40 I got from the Mint promotion. Thanks.

Is google voice reliable? I used it years ago and I would frequently miss calls.

Has anyone else noticed mint is "chugging" through data quickly than other providers. I am capped at 5 GB , mint is showing I have used up about 4 GB is less than 15 days, I barely use data outside of wifi
