Lg's website has it for the same price as well. I work at a university so I was able to use a 10% unidays coupon code and applied cashback deal from my discover card to get it down to $500 for me
Mine from LG just came in on Friday. The box came like it was dragged in black soot, and has some big rips on it. I am sending this to a client who I built a pc for last year. Should I call LG, and return it for another box, or get some sort of compensation. I rarely have seen such a package in disaray. Must be Fedex being overworked again for the holiday.

I hope LG learns a lesson to make more OLED monitors for 32, 34UW, and 42. That will get more market share.
48 is just too big for a flatpanel. It becomes a niche market for that size.
48in makes a good TV with no slow smart features. Been using these oversized monitors for years as TVs / video game console screen and have enjoyed it.
