Yes, I have proof that the $10 coupon I clipped was applied initially and when the order shipped it was not. When I clicked on the item for sale, no coupon was available. You're confusing discount with coupon.
As well as changing the delivery date, I think, changing one's delivery address (even if just one text character difference) is enough to trigger a new subscription which will cancel your current month's items and reorder them at the updated prices (and remove any no-longer-available coupons). I've been burned by this a couple times.
