If you're wanting something larger but still compact: I've used this for lighting my wood stove almost daily for two winters, it's a great quality torch and super happy with it.
No leaks either. https://www.amazon.com/LEXIVON-Mu...B07M68FLLZ

The red one is cheaper because it is much smaller and a different design than the black one (rechargeable vs loads a whole canister). If you need a product like this, just search "crème brûlée torch" on Amazon. They can be had for $10-15 all day

I bought this torch last time it was on sell... Not good!.. the positioning of the buttons makes it very awkward to turn it on. Some what difficult, i find myself using to hands to turn on the torch, very inconvenient and the flame is not that powerful.

Despite the other color being $60, CCC says the average price for this is ~$19. Still a deal, but I'm wondering if this is a new tactic they're trying. It almost got me if I'm honest.

They are two different items. One holds 75ml(black one) vs 18ml(the one on sale)

Nah. I just ask these types to film their "work".

No, this is not going to be good for soldering. You need one of the bigger ones like this:

Why wood you use a torch with such expensive fuel ( $1.20 / oz ) when a plumbers torch uses large one pound propane bottles? I use a Mapp torch head with propane because the turbo action makes it burn hotter.

I also bought a kitchen torch and it works well. I think it was $15 on Amazon.

I, too, purchased this product the last time it came on sale. I concur that this is a piece of junk. It worked for a very short time and then stopped working and even began leaking, and only lighting after releasing the trigger, where it continued to burn like a regular lighter. Very Dangerous. I threw it away. I would avoid this product.
