Current Deal - $37.99 + $10.00 Amazon GC. Is this the best we're going to get? I screwed up for TT 2019 not realizing I had just missed the after Christmas TT GC. Caught it the last 3 years as you can see, but is $37/$38 the best price now? Last year it came nowhere close to $29.99 and the GC. I am in FL so I don't need State and I file for me/wife and and do our son's using our copy of TT as well. I don't like online TT.

Sorry for my ignorance but I was burned with buying turbotax software (TTHB) from Amazon before (several years back). I could not update it. I had to calll Intuit support and the told me that the license key was not legit. I ended up buying the version from BB and since then I buy from them every year (around $80).
I see lots of people bought TT from Amazon for the last few years so I guess they are legit now.
Did anyone run into issue that they cannot update when they open TT (they always run some update when open)?

Last year (Dec 28th) - Deluxe Fed + State was $44.99 with $10 Amazon GC. So this could be as good as it gets, Just a $1 more than last year.

Dollar more than last year on the 28th of Dec, I went ahead and bit, one year I missed the one day sale and that sucked so not worth taking a chance. I'm getting 5% off with Discover also so not bad overall. I'm willing to bet price is not gonna go down from last year.
