Ordered two sets from Amazon and both boxes arrived ripped, beat up and bulging in the centers. Opened them up and there were sockets and broken tray fragments all over the place. 5 out of 6 trays were broken and I was missing two sockets in one set and 4 sockets and an extension in the other. I would make one good set and return the other, but they trays are unusable.

Ordered two sets from Amazon and both boxes arrived ripped, beat up and bulging in the centers. Opened them up and there were sockets and broken tray fragments all over the place. 5 out of 6 trays were broken and I was missing two sockets in one set and 4 sockets and an extension in the other. I would make one good set and return the other, but they trays are unusable.

I'm getting my sockets tomorrow and will take some measurements, but my initial guess is you could fit an additional Toughsystem shallow tray above the sockets in this box. If you get the Extra Large Toughsystem box, I suspect you could fit 3 shallow trays or 1 shallow tray and 1 deep tray.

Edit: The above box is the newer box that should be compatible with it. The set is sold with the older box, which seems harder to find. DeWalt Tough System Large Box.

That's very unfortunate around this time. They have a lot of seasonal workers that just don't give a shit about the way they throw things around. I work there part-time this season and leadership drove me to just quit.

My error, some of the deep wells are vertical so one tray be me 3 or 4 inches thick. The others should fit in most tool chests with the smaller drawers. I wonder how flimsy the trays are that they broke in the post above. Usually that material is pretty rugged.
