$200 for an extra 8gb RAM seems like such a slimy move, this should've had a 1tb SSD also.

I've had this for a few months now, people complain about graininess on the screen but never felt like it was an issue. the speakers are some of the best I've heard on a laptop

Got this when it was this price at besbuy a bit over a month ago. Solid machine, feels great to use. Screen is gorgeous. I haven't noticed issues with seeing the digitizer or graininess at all.

I got the 8GB deal, and so regret not getting this 16GB one for 799. For 699, it is a steal. FYI, I need to reinstall the Windows 10 with only essential driver and apply World region when setting up, to get it work as smooth as it can get. Moreover, the H chip behaves the same as the U chip with only 8GB of RAM.

What is the deal with putting the USB-C PD ports not as the last port on the side of the machine? Heck even put it in the back I wouldn't care. I see this more and more. It's annoying as it interferes with other cables when plugged in.

🤔 So I bought the hp-envy-2-in-1-15-6-full-hd-touch-screen-laptop-intel-core-i7-16gb-memory-512gb-ssd-natural-silver for the same price. Besides being around an inch smaller, is this the better deal? I bought it as a Christmas gift for my mom. It seems it comes down to 1365u vs. this 13700h. Looking it up, it seems this is a much better cpu. Will it make much of a difference?

So I get thumbs down? Probably some angry christians.

No SD card reader. Something so simple that's missing on this, but is a showstopper for me.

I was going to say this. It's a real BS corner cutting move, but they're not the only one. I have a 1 yo Acer that lacks any SD, even a micro, port.

I hope we don't have to put up with crap like 1 available port and a pathetic apple dock for an extra $100 because in apple speak "it's good for you". Translation, "it increases our profit margin by building cheaper machines and forcing you to pay inflated prices for extra crap hardware".

If you've never used one of apple's "one port to rule them all" solutions you're lucky. They really suck, with a capital Suck. They don't provide stable connections most of the time.

I don't recommend a Zenbook in this particular chassis. They are notorious for thermal issues that will result in your laptop throttling to an unusable state. Mine only lasted a year and now it is complete unusable. The cooling is awful and these 13 series Intel chips run quit hot.

I have this model. Despite all the rave reviews from various online sites, I still had my doubts about the screen quality partly because of the glossy finish but its brightness counteracts any glare issues, much to my surprise. I've heard complaints about graininess and screen door effect but everything looks gorgeous to me. Before I bought it, I went to a Microcenter and looked at a dozen or so laptops and the quality of this one stood out to me. It has a nice feature where it auto-senses light conditions and will brighten or darken automatically. I'm using it easily in lighting conditions that would be impossible for my Dell work laptop.

The speed is great. The speakers are a big improvement over the HP Envy x360 I had. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a solid all-around laptop with a great screen.

Not sure which model you have but this one has a really large heat pipe and a quiet fan. I was impressed with its cooling performance especially with the H series CPU (45W).
