For only $2 more, you can get the current 4K device which includes the following:
1. Faster processor (should be about 20% faster)
2. 2GB of RAM vs only 1.5GB
3. Wifi 6 vs only Wifi 5 (although debatable whether that is truly a benefit)
4. Newer GPU that can do AV1 encoding (GE9215 vs GE8300)
5. Fire OS 8 which is based on Android 11 vs Fire OS 7 which is based on the ancient Android 9

The processor and ram alone is worth the $2.

If Amazon allow to uninstall their own pre-install apps (Amazon shopping, Amazon Music, Amazon Video, etc..), I'll consider buying it. The app around 100MB each and taking up a lot space cause slow down. Clear cache and Data don't help much and who would want constantly doing that daily/weekly.
