MiniLED paired with VA gives much higher contrast ratio than MiniLED paired with IPS. If you want close to OLED level of blacks without the burn in from OLED, you want to go with VA MiniLED.
Because VA panel that Samsung uses have poor viewing angles (but with the benefit of much higher contrast ratio than IPS panel). So the curvature will mitigate the poor viewing angle a bit, especially for something like 32 inch monitor.

How the heck do you do that?!
Login to your Samsung account on Desktop, go to the monitor page, on top left corner click "Samsung Offer Program" and choose "Education offers". Price should go down to $599.99, then Add to cart and checkout
I was looking to buy this monitor since July but it was always around 850-900$ it went down to 799$ on BF, this is the lower price I have seen it so far and it is a good value since it haa hdmi 2.1 and HDR 2000. also curved
The $280 g7 was a better deal cuz not even the 4090 GPU can run newer games at 4k 240hz lmao. But I doubt that deal will come back. This g8 is still tempting though

7% Cashback using certain portals. I had a 15% CB offer on my chase card which expired Nov 26th but it may be worth checking for others.
