Thanks for posting, I might have missed it. After months of searching and debating, I ordered the Acer Predator Helios laptop from Best Buy on Sunday. I realize this is a desktop but I have been looking for a reasonably priced, updated gaming pc for a while and this for $400 less appears to check all the boxes.

How is this compared to https://www.costco.com/msi-aegis-...39263.html [costco.com] its an MSI Aegis R should I return and get this Walmart and upgrade later? I don't have plans to game, just video editing, and some apps running all day.

This one has good airflow, better than Aegis R, if I want to reduce the hastle of future upgrades I can just keep Aegis R, got it for $1299
The video editing will be somewhat faster on the 13700k, but if your not going to game, and you dont need blazing video editing speeds I'd just get this deal and save yourself 600 dollars.

Anyone notice a change in delivery date after going to checkout? I placed an order earlier tonight...in the cart, it said 12/1 delivery, but when I went to checkout, it changed to 12/5. In my purchase history, it still said 12/5. I just put another in my cart to test and it said 12/1 delivery, but it stayed 12/1 in checkout. I ended up ordering a second one, and cancelling the earlier order with the later delivery date. But I probably put myself at the back of the line if Walmart fulfillment is logical.
The one I ordered Sunday and the one I ordered today both said 11/30. I don't think it's accurate until it ships.

I bought the CyberpowerPc for $600 in the link below.

I guess the major difference is the cyberpowerpc has the 3060 12gb and the msi has the 4060 8gb card.

Is this MSI worth the extra $100??

Check your hard drive. The description shows 2 drives: one 500gb ssd and one 1tb hdd. Mine only comes with one 500gb ssd.
The intel chip is a bit faster and newer than the amd one too.

Thinking about upgrade the 16GB ram to 32GB ram. Anyone know what's the brand of the RAM in it? Does it means as long as I buy the same measures ( (2x8GB) DDR5 5200MHz Memory) then any brands ram should work? I had an issue before the new Ram speed is different than the old one and the computer keeps restarting. Thanks.

This has 4 ram memory card slots. Comes with 2x 8gb of memory for 16gb total. 2 slots are completely unused. Anyone know where to buy exact matching memory to upgrade this to 32gb?? Link 🙏

You really want the exact ram. You don't won't to mix and match even though it appears to be the exact same speed. Performance can be wonky if you do

ryzen 7840? what the hell is that? rtx 4050? If you mean rtx 4060, and a ryzen 7600 or above, just keep it, those are better, spend the extra 50 you saved on more hardrive space when you need it.
Thanks! This was the deal I'm referencing. https://www.dell.com/en-us/shop/c...lsrc=aw.ds
