Walmart gets volume deals that nobody else does. It's always possible Microsoft sold them all of the remaining inventory at a nice discount.
The only info I've seen is a filing with FTC for a 2024 circular Series X refresh that doesn't have a disc drive

yes, because all xbox digial games allow to be played on 2 separate Xbox machines at once. I have 2 boys so we have 3 xbox's at our house and I buy 2 copies, digital always to take advantage of this. Just google how to do this online. Now since Diablo IV allows 2 players local, one of the Xbox's can have 2 players on, so you can technically do 4 players on a single digital copy of Diablo IV.

I was able to get MS to price match yesterday using the Paso Robles, CA store. My Xbox arrived yesterday and I chatted with them to get a $150 partial refund on the series x w/ diablo.
