Really good deal on a capable gaming laptop with great display for the price. The previous popular FP deals (twice) were on this with the RX 7600S for $749.99.

Yes, it's more or less equivalent to an RTX 4060.
On paper, it's 30% faster than the 7600S.

Imo, it's not. Overall, this is slightly better and the RTX 4070 isn't a major jump from the 4060/7700s to justify a $200 jump; maybe a $50-$100.

DLSS 3.0 is worth it alone to not go anything not a 40 series card.

AMD equivalents aren't good.

If you could find a laptop at this price point with a full powered 4060 that would be great. However, because it doesn't exist yet that isn't a great point. There are similar priced ones with card offers like Amex, but none that can be bought without any special discount. Also DLSS 3 is not exclusive to RTX 4000, but frame generation is.

I know it's cheaper, but how does this compare to the Costco HP Victus deal for gaming?

Victus have power-limited GPU... Hard to say without looking up benchmarks for each in games to see how that gimped 4070 (75w I think) compares to the 7700s (at a claimed 120w max).

I'm guessing they'd be pretty close performance in most games, the 4070 would pretty likely have it beat for Ray Tracing.

Update: I ordered this TUF, I'll be running some benchmarks on Wed..I'm curious to see how it compares to 4060 and 4070 Smilie

Why aren't there any Ryzen 7 desktops with 16GB RAM on sale, under $700?

Does this laptop support charging/display from a USB-C monitor using a single USB-C cable?

Also, does the camera have any kind of privacy shutter?

Per Reddit it has 100w USB C output on one of the USB ports for charging devices.

Also per Reddit the laptop itself will accept USB C charging from as low as 15w phone chargers it just takes forever to charge when only receiving 15w.

I bit on this one as well. Love the all AMD set up and bought the Zephyrus option months ago but didn't keep it. Almost bit on the Legion and 7600 version of this but all the sale spec models either were specced bad or paired with a lower quality screen than other models so I skipped them. Was going to get an Alienware with a 6850xt for $1000+ but it was all the 1080p 360hz-480hz screens so I didn't.

We'll see how this one performs. Between the battery life, top end tier 2 GPU, milspec rating for durability it has a lot going for it. Also still waiting on my AMD+3070ti Razer Blade that GameStop has not cancelled yet and still claims will be shipped at some unknown point in the future.

DLSS is limited in terms of supported games, correct?

Currently sitting at about 100 games that support it. It's just fake upscaling no one likes upscaling but put ai in front of it and suddenly nVidia fans love upscaling...

Can someone help me out here? I bought this one and I also was able to purchase the ASUS ROG Zephyrus 165hz with the Amd 9 open box excellent for 690. Which one is better? Gonna return one. Thanks
