I personally love the simpler 60s look (I have nothing against the vintera II's 70s blocks too. It's a vintage style jaguar... it's hard to ruin these beauties' looks)

...and if so many people wanting the blocks just scored me a new vintera Jaguar for $612, that's an absolutely slick deal in my book. This guitar's black friday price was ~$870 IIRC.

As a long time buyer of Fender when you see a really good deal the first thing you should check is if it is MADE IN MEXICO, which this is.

That's an automatic pass for me.

Pay more for a made in Corona Calif, US made guitar built my Mexicans. I have no problem with Mexico....
