This is only the 4th or 5th time that it's going for this price, I reckon, 2-3 of those times were in this holiday season and the other times was months ago, not "every other week".
They put it at this price coz it sells so much. Everytime this deal has at this price has made it to FP, over here. Also, the fact that it's going for this price often is a foreshadowing that it might get even $50 cheaper than this by Christmas.
Either way, you won't find a better laptop at this price. This has set the bar for new pricing. Laptops have crashed in price through 2023, finally.

I've had my MSI laptop for 7 years. It was time to replace it. I'm looking forward to checking out the OLED and testing it's other features. I'm a little concerned about battery life but I only need to use this for day to day tasks, watching videos and the Internet.
512GB SDD sucks but that's the trade off for the price. Luckily SDDs are not that expensive anymore and I could always upgrade if need be.

Yet we have people here pretending like it's on sale every other week and that there are any comparable specs in this price range.
Yes Costco had a similar deal but it was for a slower CPU with less cores, lower resolution and smaller screen ratio, slower 60Hz refresh rate and lower brightness non-touch screen. In fact, people who got that deal found out that it wasn't even an OLED screen and was a crappy VA panel!

"3 times in 40 days." Why not specify how many days total it was on sale instead you just say 3 times? Because you're cherry picking just as bad lol.
Then goes on to say, "$999 between sales!".. Lol which is BS too Mr. Cherry Picker. It's been between 999 and 700.
Anyways, this is an OK deal. But yea, $700 in July.. It's due to get cheaper soon
