This is only the 4th or 5th time that it's going for this price, I reckon, 2-3 of those times were in this holiday season and the other times was months ago, not "every other week".
They put it at this price coz it sells so much. Everytime this deal has at this price has made it to FP, over here. Also, the fact that it's going for this price often is a foreshadowing that it might get even $50 cheaper than this by Christmas.
Either way, you won't find a better laptop at this price. This has set the bar for new pricing. Laptops have crashed in price through 2023, finally.

Build materials are on par with the MBA.
OLED is a must for me, I can't go back to IPS laptop anymore.
Battery life is a bit disappointing tho
A lot of ppl mention Abt the grainy screen due to the touchscreen digitized layer, I actually couldn't notice much difference on it.
This Zenbook "14.5" is the newest design from 2023, u can differentiate it by new pattern design on the laptop, new thermal fan design, new size 14.5. older one is 14
I think it's a perfect laptop for a non-gaming guy like me, especially for $699 + CB8%+PayPal 5%. The only downside is battery life ,SD slots and Non upgradable rams. OP posted a couple OLED Legion laptop deal w delicated Graphic cards, those are great deals also
I couldn't resist the price when they had it for like $525 before and actually bought a second one after having bought one a month earlier for $675 open box. Now I can just swap between them whenever the battery runs low and enjoy a semi pseudo mac like battery life experience, lol!
What's also cool is I have the option to use both at the same time with one flipped 180 degrees open and stacked behind the others screen with a simple stand I made from some scrap vinyl flooring pieces. I'll get a picture up here in a bit if I can. It's a pretty cool transportable dual screen setup but two of these guys does make for a heavy backpack for sure!
$699+ Paypal 5%(chase Freedom Annuel offer) + Paypal payment Doordash 20% cashback + Doordash Spend $55 get $25 back on bestbuy promo would be best price!!
* FYI there wil be Service Fee 7.5% , Tax , Delivery Fee and Tips from Doordash

I have had this exact laptop for about six weeks. I do not see any graininess in the screen or other problems. It's great for watching high resolution video and has very vivid colors.
I have been completely happy with this laptop.
I am thinking of something in the $700-750 range and was looking at both of the below:
ASUS - Zenbook 14X 14.5" 2.8K OLED Touch Laptop - Intel Evo Platform i7-13700H - 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Inkwell Gray
Lenovo - Yoga 7i 2-in-1 14" 2.2K Laptop - Intel Evo Platform - Intel Core i7-1355U with 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD - Storm Grey
Anyone have comments on ASUS vs Lenovo?
I spent hours trying to find anything similar and no other laptop has a 120Hz OLED with the bigger 2880x1800 resolution for anything close to $700. Most other similar OLED models are going for about $1100-1500+.
At least contribute and link a comparable or better priced product if you're gonna complain about a deal.

I was down between a Lenovo or this Asus laptop. My previous laptop (which I still actually have ) is a Lenovo Ideapad with an Nvidia MX gpu from 2018 and it's still running great. They got some really good built and finish to them with their metallic heft being somewhat light. I chose this Asus because it's an OLED screen and it's 120hz. It was pretty much an easy decision because it's getting a lot of bang for the buck with the screen quality and internal parts for $700. You can't find a comparable laptop for that price. A Lenovo with the same specs minus OLED and 120hz would be $600 or $550 if you wait for one to go on sale, especially a Yoga. You can't go wrong with either laptop though. I hear the negative comments about battery life, but I jumped in on this Asus because I can use it for nearly 10 hours out in the field for my Astrophotography rig but I turn the brightness lower than 50% since I'm out in the field at night. My Lenovo Ideapad had much less nits in brightness so this OLED was more than a tier higher in brightness for me even at 40% brightness. This is slightly heavier than the 2018 Ideapad Lenovo so I would say you'll feel the difference in weight against a Yoga. My mom also has a Yoga and it's lighter than my Ideapad since it has an integrated gpu and slightly slimmer. That portability might not be a minimal factor when you carry your laptop with you on trips even if half a pound seems like nothing on paper. You'll feel it because you're used to having that half pound not being there. It's the only thing I'm not happy about this Asus.
