You can start with Justin guitar for free also
You don't need it to start practicing. Justin Guitar or GuitarZero2Hero on Youtube make really good tutorials (and I'm sure there are many others) Use that and wait for the $14.99 price to hit again.
I'm about 1.5 years in with classical guitar, and it's so hard I need to mix it up. And $38's about the cost of an expensive lesson—however skimming the program and doing a level or two, it's pretty slim learning compared to method books.
Justin's looks pretty good too, and heard you end up in a better place. I'd poked around at his program but didn't hook me. Maybe I'll try it when I get through Fender, which won't be tool ong.
Thanks again and Ill checkout Guitar Zero.
