Exactly. It's the perfect tool while potting or repotting for scooping loose mix. Strong yet light weight. Also good for scooping of fertilizer and bird seed, maybe even ice melt. It's not a digging tool.
I had one like that and broke the 2nd time using it. Might be good for potting soil, but don't expect to be able to use it in anything other than soft soft soft dirt.
