I absolutely love the car. As absurd and silly as this sounds, it's far more Cayenne than RAV-4. My only complaint is that gas mileage is mediocre to poor.
MSRP (negotiable) $36,500.00
Lug Nuts and Wheel Locks (negotiable) $225.00
Interior Lighting Kit (negotiable) $350.00
Rear Bumper Guard (negotiable) $135.00
Cargo Cover (negotiable) $250.00
Delivery Fee (non-negotiable) $1,375.00
Total Sticker Price $38,835.00
Friends and Family discount -$2,600.00
Mazda Loyalty discount -$500.00
Total Price of Car (This probably where your bread and butter is in terms of where you can negotiate) $35,735.00
Sales Tax (obviously non-negotiable) $2,263.73
Doc Fee (admitted probably on the high side, maybe negotiable) $499.00
Title Fee (non-negotiable) $75.00
Inspection Fee (non-negotiable) $35.00
Registration Fee (non-negotiable) $60.00
$38,667.73 (All these mandatory fees added basically equals the total list price haha)
I asked for free weather mats and got it at the end
Might be worth asking for a few extra free oil change coupons as well

Japanese reliability. I drive a lot. I have 4 vehicles bow if your not counting my old half constructed supra and it's just me and my wife. I have put multiple 2016 and later Mazdas past 120-180k and literally no reliability issues. Brakes, batteries, tires, and drive. Toyota is rarely built in Japan anymore. Their cars are simply reliable.

I only ask the posted why he went with new Cx-5 when he's started modifying for performance.

I started to modify just to get that extra bit of performance and fun it was missing. Not a huge added cost unlike BMW aftermarket parts which are overpriced just for the sake of it. Near bulletproof reliability+ some sportiness > questionable reliability + all out balls to the wall performance is what I prefer. Been there, done that.

It's quite simple to tell if a car is being registered as a new car for the first time or not BTW.
Why do you only ever post untrue things?
I already posted half a dozen different news sources showing that.
But if you really need to hear what Elon says about it- he'd already predicted back in early 2021 that would happen this year:
https://twitter.com/elonmusk/stat...11995719
He reiterated this on Teslas Q3 2023 results call:
Why do you and Pga get so mad at facts?
One reason I ask is generally batteries in both EVs and hybrids have an 8 year warranty (or longer in some cases and some states).
https://www.mazdausa.co
That cites Mazdas CX-90 Hybrid warranty as 8 years for example.
So I find your 5 year claim... dubious.
Two takeaways :
1) Continue buying quality
2) inflation sucks

Except they are.
