Decent price for 36, but those aren't $90 pens
Stick with 0.5mm, 0.38mm G2's are very sharp and pointy good for fine writing where you need to write small words to fit your lines. I find 0.7mm lines too thick and not as nice to write with. There's a reason why the Pilot G2 is number one and it's still my favorite pen because of the slimmer barrel and smoothness and glide when you're writing. My second favorite pen is Sharpie S-Gel, then it's between Uniball One and Sarasa Clip. While Sarasa is a decent pen it's not as smooth as I would like it to be.

I am sorry to say but the amount of pens go wasted in the world when these retailers try to sell these pens in bulk - many a times I have a few pens lying around for years unused. The resources put into all this - the plastic, the ink - it's all a waste. I am not an environmentalist but it's sad to just the say that such resources. Inks are bad for soil, plastic cannot be decomposed. Why do people need so many pens? In this age most people use cellular phones and computers to type anything. Schools and maybe some office goers use pens and pencil but people would suffice with two or three pens a year the most. When retailers sell so many pens in bulk - what for?

I go through a ton of these pens. I write and take lots of notes. I save all the empties but have yet to find replacement ink that's less expensive than new pens.

I have found the same issue. The replacement ink costs more than a new pens, and that really sucks. Why not make the ink available at a discounted price? People will still buy and use your products. C'mon Pilot!
