By the way, What I am cancelling is not the BOGO line, but the line that I suspended, which is an old line that we hardly use. From what I got is that as long as I dont cancel the line that's attached with the BOGO, I can keep the promotion of the BOGO.

Do you have a screenshot saying that you qualify?

That's supposed to be the activation fee. You can get it waived, but I don't think most do. I paid that the last time I got a free line last year. Ask for a second opinion like another rep if you don't trust it.

What did you tell the Costco rep? The one I talked to said he has no idea or capabilities to add promo. It's something that can only be done online at the actual T-Mobile site

Thank you! Chatted with an agent and they were able to add a line for me and also gave me a $35 credit to my account towards the activation charge they cannot avoid.

You don't add promo. System adds them.

Is it still correc that you can't cancel any paid line for 12 months once you've acquired a free line promo?

I've been trying to cancel one of the paid lines for years but T-mobile keeps rolling these free line promos lol year after year.

The paid line added today with free line must be maintained to keep the free line. So I wouldn't really consider it BOGO free but Keep 2 lines active for the price of 1

I never had good luck with T-Mobile. Fighting and working with T-Force never helped so I started suing them. Now 3 lawsuits later I have been awarded nearly $5K, had my balances removed and phones unlocked. Go know, that it would be so easy - 2 or the 3 lawsuits were default judgments and the other a simple settlement after they were served. I have 1 more in the pipeline for bigger bucks, in higher court, and only they have anything to lose. Go big or go home!
