When I hit the "Buy" link on pcpartpicker it opened directly to the Newegg page in my post, and before I put it in my cart there was a notice that over 500 other shoppers had it in their shopping cart as well. After I ordered it that information was no longer there. I wonder if any of them actually ordered it, if there actually were 500 others, or was that just a ploy to motivate a buyer into making a decision before it "sold out". Of course the big question is whether this is a scam just to show more sales in Q4 2023, before issuing a refund in Q1 2024. Time will tell.
