I tried to register mine and it does not allow me to using WD4070 or WD40701 or adding 'VNM' at the end as it instructs to. So, I called CS and they told this product has a lifetime warranty and does not require registration.
I called the new phone number and they told me the vacuums don't have an LSA, but they have "Ridgid Full Lifetime Warranty" which is stamped on top of the product box. They told me all vacuums are automatically registered for lifetime warranty and that registration is optional. I told them I still wanted to go through the optional registration. Here is how to do it:
Go to Ridgid.com (not ridgidpower.com)
Go to Support --> Product Registration
Click Wet/Dry Vacs
Click the Red button Create An Account (not the orange button)
Go through the account registration process and then enter in model/serial number for the vacuum
They told me warranty registration is optional, but I decided to do it anyways.
