Separate of the gaming setup, I'm interested in a separate desktop for my spouse. Key use cases are standard document handling, photos/music and occasionally some semi-advanced crypto activity (e.g., heavy discord use, browser add-ins, simple RPAs, etc.). Does that change the recommendation at all towards a less powerful machine?

There's also this HP Victus refurb for $397 with RX 6400. Throw in 32GB of RAM and you're all in for about $450 or so, with the 5600G offering about a 12% performance boost over the i5-11400F.
