It has great temperature resistance, but doesn't seem very impact resistant
"Use care when placing ice into the glass to avoid fracturing the inner layer. If possible, add ice after the liquid. Avoid the use of automatic ice dispensers."

Can confirm not very impact resistant. Definitely not kid friendly, but glass never is. Bought at full price. Would buy again at this price.

They're not. I bought these at full retail - broke them all within 2 months.
I bought these for 9 thats a bargain and all the Costcos I went to in S Cal gad them. Im sure this is pretty available at most. These are probably like $60 on bodum site bought 7 packe . These are great. Much thicker glass than regular bodum glasses.
These are much thicker than regular bodum glasses. The chance of ice cubes breaking these are extremely low. Ive not broken one yet. I have the regular glasses but then they are a thinner glass too.
