I ordered two cases on the last deal for the mechanics in my shop. They were not a big hit. They only ate maybe half of one case before they both expired (dated about two months out from received date). I personally love Utz chips, and I also love any kind of bbq chips. I thought these would be a slam dunk even if just for me, but these were a huge miss. They're extremely salty, and they're very weak on the bbq flavor. This is the only Utz flavor I've tried that I won't buy again.

For those who have never experienced chip Nirvana, I would recommend going to https://www.grippos.com and ordering some BBQ flavored chips. Literally the best I have ever had - not even a close second.

Thanks for the review-I was going to order them for my grand daughters lunches, but am happy that you gave us the lowdown. Chips don't have to be super salty. I think that some manufacturers go heavy on the salt, so that they can go light on the other ingredients that may taste better, but cost more, like spices. Smilie

I bought them last month and ate a bag tonight. They taste fine to me. Salty? Really? It's a flavored potato chip, and I don't think they're any more salty than Lay's or any other brand. The ones I received had plenty of BBQ seasoning and the chips are fully covered. I've had a dozen brands before, and while this may not be my absolute favorite, they're not bad at all for what they are.

I agree, but half the case is gone, and I like them, so it is what it is. The expiration date is 11 Mar 2024. We won't have a problem finishing them before then.
